The AADMD 14th Annual Education Conference on health and healthcare for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is being held in Chicago, Illinois at the Swissotel from Friday, July 8th until Sunday, July 10th.

The National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices will offer a two-day workshop, July 11 & 12, on 'Dementia Capable Care of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia' appropriate for all levels of staff caring for adults at risk for or diagnosed with ID and dementia. 

The IASSIDD Academy will also provide a series of half-day workshops on a number of topics related to physical and mental health care issues and practices on July 11.  

The prices for the conference are as follows:

AADMD Membership Discount:  All conference attendees are eligible for a 20% discount on AADMD annual membership dues. Associate Membership, normally $100 per year, will be discounted to $80 per year and Professional Membership, normally $150 will be discounted to $120 per year. The discount is available to new, current, and previous AADMD members.

CME/CDE Credit:  The conference will be offered for CME and CDE only.  Other professionals may receive certificates for CME or CDE and submit them to their professional bodies.   Often these are recognized for purposes of continuing education credit.
